Privacy Policy

Come Together is an app and website for finding, hosting and going to events — and for the tickets, venue bookings, memberships and chat that come with them. This policy says what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can do about it. It is written to be read. If anything is unclear, email support@letscometogether.app.

Who we are

Come Together (“we”, “us”) runs the Come Together iOS app and letscometogether.app. For anything in this policy, write to support@letscometogether.app.

What we collect

  • Your account. When you sign in with Apple, Google or an email address, we receive an account identifier and the name and email address that sign-in provides. Your display name appears on events you host, on guest lists and in chat; you can change it at any time, and you can add a bio and an avatar if you want to.
  • Photos you upload. Event covers, profile avatars and the photos you add to an event’s shared album.
  • Your purchases. Tickets, venue bookings and memberships you buy or sell: what, when, the amount and the order’s status, including refunds. Card details are entered in Stripe’s payment form and never stored by us. Stripe is our payment processor, and its own privacy policy covers how it handles card data.
  • Messages and content you post. Event titles and notes, venue listings and reviews, event chat and direct messages between hosts and guests.
  • Diagnostics. Anonymous crash and performance reports produced by Apple’s MetricKit. They describe the crash, the app version and the device model; they are not linked to your account and are used only to find and fix bugs.
  • Service logs. Our servers keep ordinary request logs — such as IP address and browser type — for security, rate limiting and debugging.

What we do not do

We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your data.

The iOS app does not use your device’s location; event and venue addresses are typed in by hosts. On the web, if you tap “Find what’s happening near you”, your browser asks for permission and your position is used once, in your browser, to pick the nearest city. It is not sent to our servers or stored.

How we use it

To run the service: publish events, sell and check tickets, take venue bookings, run memberships, deliver chat and notifications, and pay hosts and venues. To send you receipts and updates about your own events and purchases. To keep the service safe — handling reports, blocks and abuse. And to fix bugs.

Who sees it

  • Hosts see the names of guests on their own events, and venues see the names of the people who book them. Other guests see what you post in an event’s chat and shared album.
  • Stripe processes payments and payouts. Apple and Google handle sign-in and give us only what you agreed to share with us.
  • The companies that host our servers and store uploaded files process data on our behalf and only on our instructions.
  • We disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
  • We do not share your information with anyone else, and never for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your name, email address, sign-in identifiers and avatar, unpublish your events and listings, and delete your notifications. Records of completed purchases are kept in anonymised form, because hosts, venues and payment rules require them. Messages you posted in shared chats may remain, shown as from “Deleted user” rather than from you. Diagnostics and server logs are not tied to your account.

Your choices: export and deletion

In the app, go to Profile → Privacy & data to download a copy of your data or to delete your account. You can also email support@letscometogether.app from the address on your account and we will do either for you. You can edit your profile and photos at any time, and you can block or report anyone in the app or on the web.

Children

Come Together is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. For changes that matter, we will also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
